The dry hot desert of Mui Ne

Came to Mui Né and it was extremely hot here. Went to a desert like area with sand dunes. Tried to slide on them but it was very lame :D

Nha Trang, Vietnam

We came to Nha Trang april 29th, after a stop for 5 hours nwith the bus in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere.
We relaxed a lot in this city but also tried scuba diving which was amazing and fun.

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Came to Ha Long Bay a couple of days ago, and we are happy about the place but truly dissapointed about the weather. Everywhere we go it seems to be rainy, foggy and cloudy. Our big plan of getting a nice tan is definitely thrown away.
Anyway. We are staying in Cat Ba town on Cat Ba Island, and went on a boat out to see the wonders of this place. Saw caves, Monkey Island, kayaked and swam around. Nice day. Tomorrow we are going to Ninh Binh towards the south of Vietnam.

Fooling around on a guide tour

On the road Laos-Vietnam

From Luang Prabang we took a long journey with only a few stops in smaller towns (some of them a little dodgy -see the bathroom picture below), all the way from Laos across the border to Dien Bien Phu in Vietnam. After a half day in the city we got on a sleeping bus (pretty cool one) and arrived in Hanoi early in the morning the 13th. They have some weird food here.

Vang Vieng, Laos

We took a sleeping train directly from Bangkok to Laos on april 2. (we think), together with new german friend. In Vientiane, Laos' capital we spent about 2 hours of sightseeing and then took a local bus to Vang Vieng. A very touristy but lovely town.
It is famous for a lot of partying, drinking and so on while going down the river in tubes. We went tubing also but didn't get drunk though. Wa had a fantastic time and used swings and slides and jumped in the river.
We also climbed a high mountain, went inside some caves (deep deep dark caves :D), bicycled. motorbiked and swam in a blue lagoon. Amazing weather too (HA! Koh Tao).

Bangkok pictures (31. March-?)

After fleeing from Bangkok we went back to Bangkok, partied a little bit at our favourite place with cheap cocktails (see picture), where our favourite thailady 'froglady' works. We love her :D
